every single wedding that we do there’s always certain elements that i love about each and every one. but there’s just something about a backyard wedding that really makes my heart happy. ali + tyler were married at her dad’s house in kentucky along the river, atop an old rusty boat that has been sunk into the banks for years and years. how cool is that?! i’ve known ali for years and had the pleasure of working with her when i used to be a hair stylist. i was so excited when her and tyler asked us to be a part of their day. thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts. i’m always unbelievably humbled to be able to spend such an important day with people. and so thankful when they have nothing but absolute trust in what we do.
here is their story.
Planner : Ohana Studios – i have to give a huuuuuge shoutout to Ohana Studios for coordinating, designing, decorating, etc this wedding. they were so, so great to work with! brides, if you are in need of some help in planning your big day, contact Alicen. seriously.

Also, i can’t do this blog post and not mention tyler’s band. he plays stand up bass in Arlo Mckinley & The Lonesome Sound. If you haven’t heard them yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. An amazingly talented group of people, playing some amazing music.
