if any of you happened to read this post , i talked a little about how i’m really bad about posting personal stuff on my blog, buuuut that one of my goals is to try + do it more often. i have to admit that i am so bad about taking pics when i am out ‘n about. i don’t know what it is, but sometimes i just feel like i’m not getting the full experience when my face is behind a camera the whole time. for example, a little while ago i visited new york city for the first time, i was so so so excited about going and all the awesome photos i was going to get while i was there, well i ended up maybe taking 40 photos the whole time lol. i just wanted to take it all in without worrying about anything else. now i have to admit, no matter what the situation, i almost always regret not taking more (or any) photos. so i have been trying to change that, i’ve been trying to take my camera with me more, & trying to actually use it.
these photos are from a recent trip to hocking hills where josh + i + some friends, spent the weekend when we participated in the warrior dash. if you haven’t heard of this race, it’s a 3 mile race with obstacles, you can check out more about it here . it was super fun, & once again even though my camera was in the car, and even though josh + i planned to clean up and then take photos of the event, that of course never happened lol. the only photo we have from the race is one my cousin took on his cell phone, as you can see it was a muddy mess. also, that’s why the photo is pretty pixelated but i still wanted to put it up.
i did however get my camera out the next day when we visited old man’s cave & ash cave. this was the first time i’ve ever been there & would definitely recommend it! these are some of the photos from that day.
i think 90% of the photos josh + i have together are like this. the old handheld method lol:
two of my bff’s celeste + crystal:
my cousin jeremy + his girlfriend alisha:

so in the next two pictures, you see that little waterfall on the left, well in the photo on the right crystal is standing on the top of it looking over. thought i was going to have a heart attack with her standing that close to the edge:
